At this year’s annual meeting of the Belgian Association for Psychological Science (BAPS) I was awarded with the first PhD award (1000€) for my PhD work (The role of metacognition in cognitive control). Thanks again to Eva en Filip, without whom this wouldn’t have happened! I gave a short 10 minute presentation about 4 years of hard work, and probably also blushed a bit when reading the jury’s comments:
« Excellent writing, crystal-like, very pedagogical (for not specialized readers) and progressively built exposé (summary, but also the thesis). Very thoughtful work, rich theorization, strong originality in the experimental work; creative discussion at the end. »
